Who are we?

We’re MeshXE, and our mission is simple:

But behind every great system is a story — and ours starts long before AI became mainstream.

The Story Behind XE SCALE

Our founder, Martin, began exploring automation in the early 1980s, long before most people had even touched a computer.

By the mid-1990s, he was working on early Artificial Intelligence models with the University of Maryland AI Team, heavily influenced by the groundbreaking work of cognitive scientist Roger Schank, a pioneer in language processing, storytelling, and human–machine interaction.

From there, Martin’s journey evolved into decades of innovation:

Early Robotics & Automation Work

  • Built a 6-foot humanoid robot named Eric

  • Developed hardware/software-powered speech recognition, early voice AI, and primitive computer vision

  • Created home automation systems that could control lights, audio/video systems, security, and more—long before “smart homes” existed

Marketing + Technology

Long before SaaS was a thing, Martin ran an advertising agency, combining technology with marketing systems in the early 1980s and beyond.
This unique blend—deep technical knowledge + real marketing experience—is now the foundation of XE SCALE.
